Finally. We are very proud to share that In Between These Mountains, the new film of Olivier S. Garcia will premiere at NFF in the feature-length documentary competition. In this personal film, a singular mixture of a home movie and a road trip, Olivier goes on an intense hike with his father and half-brother hoping to get to know each other and their shared heritage better. As his brother says: No man is greater than Mother Nature. There we will all be equal. Making such a personal film is, as always, a struggle on its own. In the past years, we have watched Oliver battle with the film, himself, and his family story, but he came, saw, and conquered and In Between These Mountains is special. Beautiful. Tough. Funny. And the sweetest. All hand made by Olivier who, as a uomo universalis, did the camera, sound, a good deal of the editing, titles, oh and some music. We are touched by the heart.
